The purpose of this session is to define how the Internet currently serves to enable and strengthen the human right to freely choose their leaders as said the article 21 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: “Everyone has the right to take part in the government of his country, directly or through freely chosen representatives...” The discussion will begin with a brief opening speech of the speakers, which will make a statement about the electronic voting, its use in different countries of the world and if they believe that electronic voting has a future as part of the mechanisms of digital democracy.
